REAL ESTATE FRAUD ACQUITTAL

In April of 2014, Mr. Caliendo represented a lawyer in a public corruption case alleging kickbacks on real estate projects financed through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Following a three week federal trial in the Eastern District of New York, the defendant was acquitted on all charges.
